Privacy Policy
How we protect your data and respect your privacy
Last updated: February 18, 2026
The Short Version
Your writing is yours. We don’t sell it. We don’t train AI on it without your consent. We don’t share it with anyone you didn’t choose. We built this platform to serve writers, not to exploit them.
What We Collect
When you use MyVoiceWriter, we store:
- Your content: Your writing, notes, documents, character profiles, world-building details, and anything you create on the platform.
- Account basics: Your name, email, and login credentials.
- Usage info: When you log in and what features you use (so we can improve the platform).
What We Don’t Do
- We don’t sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
- We don’t train AI models on your writing without explicit consent.
- We don’t show ads. There’s no advertising here.
- We don’t let others see your private work. What you write stays yours unless you choose to share it.
Who Can See What
Only you can see:
- Your private writing projects
- Your drafts and notes
- Your conversations with the AI assistant
You control what gets shared:
- Publishing your work publicly
- Sharing with collaborators
- Exporting your content
Your Data, Your Control
You can:
- Download everything we have about you at any time
- Delete your account and all your data
- Export your writing in standard formats
Your work doesn’t disappear when you leave. You can take it with you.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your creative work.
AI and Your Content
When you use AI features on MyVoiceWriter:
- Your prompts are processed to generate responses
- We don’t use your content to train AI models without consent
- AI conversations are private to your account
