The Short Version

MyVoiceWriter is here to help you write. Your work belongs to you. Use our tools responsibly. Don’t use them to harm others. That’s basically it.

What MyVoiceWriter Is

MyVoiceWriter is a writing platform designed to support authors, journalists, and content creators. It can help you:

  • Develop stories with AI-assisted organization and brainstorming
  • Keep track of characters, locations, timelines, and plot details
  • Generate drafts and content that you can edit and refine
  • Store and organize your writing projects securely

What MyVoiceWriter Isn’t

  • Not a ghostwriting service. The AI assists your process; it doesn’t replace your creative judgment.
  • Not a publishing platform. We help you create; publishing is up to you.
  • Not legal advice. Content you create is your responsibility to ensure it doesn’t infringe on others’ rights.

Your Content, Your Rights

  • You own what you create. Everything you write on MyVoiceWriter belongs to you.
  • We don’t claim rights to your work. We won’t publish, sell, or use your content without your permission.
  • You’re responsible for your content. Don’t use our tools to create content that infringes copyrights, defames others, or violates laws.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be yourself. One account per person. That account is yours.
  • Don’t pretend to be someone else.
  • Don’t use MyVoiceWriter to create harmful content including harassment, threats, or illegal material.
  • Keep your login secure. Don’t share your password.
  • Respect intellectual property. Don’t upload content you don’t have rights to use.

Our Responsibilities

  • Keep your data safe and your writing private.
  • Be honest with you about what our tools can and can’t do.
  • Keep improving based on what actually helps writers.
  • Respect your creative process without imposing unnecessary restrictions.

AI-Generated Content

When you use AI features:

  • The AI assists based on your prompts and direction
  • You’re responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content
  • AI output may require fact-checking and refinement
  • You retain rights to content you create using AI assistance

Age Requirements

MyVoiceWriter is designed for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or have parental/guardian consent if you’re between 13-17.

Ending Your Account

You can leave anytime. If you want to delete your account:

  • Export your content first (we’ll help you do this)
  • After you confirm deletion, we’ll remove your data within 30 days
  • Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics

We can also end your account if you violate these terms. We’ll tell you why if that happens.

Changes to These Terms

If we change these terms, we’ll let you know. Big changes won’t surprise you.
